Dr. Melone grew up in Reno and is privileged to serve Nevada residents. She is deeply committed to care centered around the patient and hopes to establish long lasting bonds with each of her patients. A compassion approach with a thorough review of systems allows her to make accurate diagnoses and choose a treatment method that best serves each diagnosis. Dr. Melone has worked extensively as an adult psychiatrist and a child psychiatrist. Her background is broader than most psychiatrists, and she has completed a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and she has worked developing and helping to implement behavior plans for children and teens. She did both her residency in Adult Psychiatry and fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Nevada, Reno. During fellowship she has had experience working as an online psychiatrist as well.

Online sessions are held from the safety of your own home at a time that is convenient for you through our easy scheduling platform. You can use our secure video conferencing on your computer, laptop or smartphone anywhere there is an internet connection in the state of Nevada!
Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. Through counseling and treatment, we are able to help you recover motivation, perspective, and joy that you once had in your life.
Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger post traumatic events. We can help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing.
Positive behavioral interventions can be beneficial to the child and parents and can strengthen their emotional connection, in all stages of development. Collaboration with schools can improve the child's relationship with teachers and even improve school performance.
